Submissions to Filmambiente 2023 are open!
From March 1st to May 31st, submissions are open for documentaries, fictions, experimental films and animations, in short and feature films on environmental issues, sustainability and human rights.
To participate, you must complete the Registration Form below.
But before, please read the rules of the festival.
And remember: your registration is only complete with the sending of a viewing link.

The 13th edition of Filmambiente will be full of novelties!!
From the 22nd to the 30th of August, 2024; besides the excellent films that our public already expects, the festival will have novelties in its programme.
For starters, an exclusive Competitive Section for Brazilian films. In recent years, we noticed an increase in the production of quality films with environmental and sustainability themes in Brazil, which guided our decision to honor and shed light on it. The Brazilian Feature Film Competition will present 5 to 7 films, selected among the best Brazilian films produced on the themes of the environment and human rights in the period.
The international feature film competition will also feature 5 to 7 films.
And all the films compete for the public award, who vote at the end of each session.
The Panorama section will present the best feature, short and medium-length films produced in different parts of the planet in the period. Some of these will also be presented online - with accessibilities for disabled people.
Last but not least, the 13th Filmambiente will happen in Rio de Janeiro and also in Niterói.
