The film follows Brazilian geographer Larissa Bombardi as she investigates the global supply chain that allows pesticides banned in Europe to be produced and exported to the Global South, with devastating consequences. Filmed in Brazil, Belgium, France, and Switzerland, the documentary exposes how political decisions, corporate lobbying, and regulatory loopholes underpin what Bombardi defines as chemical colonialism.
