Lea has participated as a programmer and press officer in festivals such as FIKE – International Festival of Short films from Évora (Portugal), Showcase of Dominican Republic Cinema (Lisboa, Portugal), Agenda Brazil - International Festival of Brazilian Cinema (Milan, Italy), CineEco (Seia, Portugal), Lusomovies- Short Films Festival of Rome, Gramado Film Festival & International Festival of Gibara (Cuba).

Luiz Carlos Lacerda

Filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and teacher. Has made around 30 shorts, TV shows and series about caracthers of Brazilian culture; and the feature films: Mãos vazias; O Princípio do prazer; Leila Diniz; For All; Viva Sapato; Casa 9; A mulher de longe; Introdução à música do sangue; O que seria deste mundo sem paixão? awarded at international and Brazilian festivals. Teacher at International School of Cinema of Cuba; Estácio de Sá University, School of Cinema Darcy Ribeiro and School of Arts at Paraná University.
Ms Vasanti Rao

Ms Vasanti Rao

Director General of CMS (Centre for Media Studies) a research-based think tank in India and also directs CMS Vatavaran – International Film Festival and Forum on Environment & Wildlife. Vasanti has a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University in media studies and double master’s degrees in Psychology and Management. An active advocate for accountability in the media, she has been part of the Ministry Committee in drafting the Content Guidelines for the Broadcast Sector. Vasanti is also the coordinator of the EU-supported campaign Lead the Green Change. Lead the Green Change.
Alexandre Juruena

Alexandre Juruena

Director of Anim!Arte - International Festival of Brazilian Student Animation. Designer, post-graduaded in Media Education at PUC Rio University, holds a Master in Contemporary Art Studies from the Fluminense Federal University. Mentor and teacher at the Animation Workshop at Escola Parque (Park School) since 2007, which generated films selected and awarded at more than 100 festivals in Brazil and abroad. Director and animator of short movies and video clips. Coordinator of animation workshops and jury at Brazilian and European film festivals.
Maria Bento

Maria Bento

Maria Bento holds a Masters in Education from Lisboa University and is the founder of Cinemirim - a project of Introduction to Cinematographic Language for children and teenagers. Besides the project, she teaches cinema at private and public schools. She worked on TV as an editor, screenwriter and researcher for productions at Globo, GNT, Gloob, TV Brasil, OFF! e Futura channels.
Valério Fonseca

Valério Fonseca

Actor and director, partner at Ponta Negra Films. Started in the 90s at the theatre directing and acting in Brazil and abroad. In 2004 directs his first short film Dona Eulália (Misses Eulália) from Arthur Azevedo’s book, followed by other shorts including Pegadas de Zila (Zila Footprints) and Maria Ninguém (Mary Nobody). He studied script at EICTV in Cuba and in 2013 directed the documentary Remar É… (To Paddle is…) Acted on the TV series Confissões de Adolescente (Teenagers’ Confessions), Sítio do Picapau (The Yellow Woodpecker Site) and A Grande Família (The Big Family). Soon Valério will launch his first feature drama film O Alecrim e o Sonho (The Rosemary and the Dream), shot in 2019.
