The film shows global patterns of kleptocracy and wealth extraction in different scenarios. An investigative journalist murdered in Malta; a river without water in Chile. And we noticed that when people reach a tipping point, they start to organise and protest. Despite this, the film explores the possibilities of overcoming injustice and corruption and presents us with the possibility of reimagining the cornerstones of our societies, reviving the seeds of hope that live within each of us. And we will meet those already fighting on the front lines of social uprisings around the world.
