Of Waters

The film, a space-time cutout in the city's history, shows the daily lives of women and men who live by fishing on the river Capibaribe in Recife, Pernambuco. The film also addresses themes such as the right to the city, urban planning, the environment, and people's struggle to uphold their fishing tradition, dreams, and relationship with the river, all of which are critical aspects of their cultural identity.
