Neles, o territ\u00f3rio n\u00e3o \u00e9 propriedade, mas rela\u00e7\u00e3o: ch\u00e3o habitado, \u00e1gua polu\u00edda, mas defendida, floresta cultivada junto com a mem\u00f3ria. O ponto de vista se desloca: quem narra s\u00e3o povos ind\u00edgenas e comunidades postas \u00e0 margem pela hist\u00f3ria oficial, que aqui ocupam o centro da imagem, da escuta e do tempo. Suas narrativas menos usuais misturam documento e sonho, arquivo e oralidade, den\u00fancia e celebra\u00e7\u00e3o, recusando tanto o exotismo do olhar de fora quanto a nostalgia de uma pureza congelada. A tradi\u00e7\u00e3o aparece como pr\u00e1tica viva, que se transforma para permanecer, em tens\u00e3o com a devasta\u00e7\u00e3o imposta pelas pr\u00e1ticas predat\u00f3rias do capitalismo \u2014 o avan\u00e7o da minera\u00e7\u00e3o e do agroneg\u00f3cio, o envenenamento dos rios, a mercantiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de tudo o que tem vida e respira. Diante da l\u00f3gica que converte territ\u00f3rio em recurso , essas obedecem outra gram\u00e1tica, nem sempre vis\u00edvel na escrita da hist\u00f3ria Se a unidade do continente nasceu da coloniza\u00e7\u00e3o, ela segue sendo refeita pelas diferentes formas de lutar \u2014 das retomadas de terra \u00e0s retomadas da imagem. Nesses filmes, o cinema \u00e9 ferramenta de (auto)determina\u00e7\u00e3o. Convidamos o p\u00fablico a assistir n\u00e3o como quem observa o outro, mas como quem se reconhece parte da mesma trama.
